In versions prior to 9.0.x.x the Switch was known as the Push-Button, the functionality remains the same.

Use this function block to turn a momentary signal from a retractive switch to an always on or off signal.

This video shows you how to complete a very simple configuration using the push button block to control a single light circuit.

With each pulse at the input Tr the output Q changes its state between on and off.

A pulse at the input O will mean the input is switched on permanently until a reset of Q is triggered by a pulse at the input R.

If the Dis input is on then the inputs of the block will be disabled however you will still be able to operate the block via the UI.

You can use the pushbutton to switch operating modes on and off.
